The seventh round in this year's STCC took place this weekend at Jyllandsringen in Denmark. The track, one of the shortest and tightest in the series, is well known for punishing front wheel drive cars with excessive tire wear. Consequently, Volvo Polestar arrived to this away game with a strategy set on not losing too much ground but could leave with results and more points than projected. Robert Dahlgren took pole position again and two podiums. He finished second in the first heat and third in the second. Tommy Rustad claimed a third and a fourth place. Richard Göransson in a BMW won the first heat and Thed Björk, also in a BMW, won the second one.
